First I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dad! Hope you have a great day dad, and like your birthday present!!
Today we went for lunch at a Chinese restuarant, we had been told that we should try 'yum-cha' by a collegue of Steve's. For those who don't know what it is, it ( according to wikipedia) refers to the dining experience of eating small servings of different foods. So the server comes through with a cart, which contains lots of different bamboo baskets of food. You choose what you want and then its added to your bill which sits on your table.
Unfortunately most of the foods we chose, we didn't like, I think it was the texture, most of the foods were steamed in the baskets. They had things like chicken feet and tripe (neither of which Steve or I ordered). We did have chicken and corn soup though, that was pretty good as were the spring rolls. For dessert we had a coconut ball and that was pretty good. The experience was pretty interesting, but I don't think we will be doing it again in a hurry.

So later in the afternoon, we all decided we were still a little hungry, and we went to one of my favourite places (I have a lot!!), adore tea
They have the most divine tea, all 200 plus flavours! Plus some gorgeous cakes. So we decided to have late tea, really early dinner. Normally they only have sweet dishes, like cakes and slices, but today they had a savory dish, pad thai! It was really really good! I also had the strawberry champagne tea. Steve had a scone and hot chocolate, and Luke had banana split flavoured tea with dutch poffertjies. Everything was great!! We also got to play a quick game of jenga. It was a great afternoon.
I also took my photo a day pic there, outside in a gazebo. How is that, for a cheeky grin!!
Then on the way home I managed to take a some more photo's of the area, I live in. This is mainly for the people on a forum, I am a part of called SA Australia. Its for people making the big move aka immigrating from South Africa to Australia. So I will be posting photo's of Canberra from time to time here, so that those moving here have some idea of what to expect.

After all the eating and photo taking we arrived home pretty late this afternoon. Then it was a hunt in the car to find the house keys, eventually I walked to the front door to find this:
Not only were the keys in the door, the door was unlocked, and those car keys...well those belong to the month old car we recently bought, that was sitting in the open garage! Ha the benefits of living in the country!
